Es ist überraschend, liebe Freunde, wenn wir im 1.Korinther im Kapitel 9 in den Versen 19 bis 23 lesen, dass Paulus, um das Evangelium, den Aufbau des Reich Gottes voranzutreiben, alle möglichen Werbemaßnahmen ergriffen hat.

Ja, sich an sein Gegenüber angepasst hat, um diesem das Evangelium aus dessen Sichtweise zu erklären.

1.Korinther 9, 19 Denn obwohl ich frei bin von jedermann, habe ich doch mich selbst jedermann zum Knecht gemacht, auf dass ich möglichst viele gewinne. 20 Den Juden bin ich wie ein Jude geworden, damit ich die Juden gewinne. Denen unter dem Gesetz bin ich wie einer unter dem Gesetz geworden – obwohl ich selbst nicht unter dem Gesetz bin –, damit ich die unter dem Gesetz gewinne. 21 Denen ohne Gesetz bin ich wie einer ohne Gesetz geworden – obwohl ich doch nicht ohne Gesetz bin vor Gott, sondern bin im Gesetz vor Christus –, damit ich die ohne Gesetz gewinne. 22 Den Schwachen bin ich ein Schwacher geworden, damit ich die Schwachen gewinne. Ich bin allen alles geworden, damit ich auf alle Weise etliche rette. 23 Alles aber tue ich um des Evangeliums willen, auf dass ich an ihm teilhabe.

Einen Standpunkt hierbei aber offenbar dennoch nie verlässt: Das er frei ist.

Heute sind Freiheitliche in der Regel diejenigen, welche die Bevölkerung auseinanderdividieren. Den einen Volksteil gegen einen anderen Volksteil aufwiegeln, um selbst eine Gruppe derer um sich zu sammeln, die sich dadurch besser fühlen, besser zu sein als die sogenannten Anderen.

Für Paulus liegt die Freiheit offenbar darinnen, einen Weg zu suchen, wie alle Menschen miteinander leben können. Die ursprüngliche und göttliche Freiheit.
