Изненадващо е, скъпи приятели, когато продължаваме да чуваме в църквите, че Павел е бил неженен. Изненадващо, защото 1-вото послание до Тимотей вече ни казва нещо съвсем различно в стих 2.

Павел нарича Тимотей свой син и това име вероятно идва отнякъде.

1 Тимотей 1:2 До Тимотей, моето истинско дете във вярата: Благодат, милост, мир от Бог Отец и нашия Господ Христос Исус!

Не можете наистина да си представите, че Павел е виждал всички проповедници като свои деца и стих 2 във 2 Тимотей също потвърждава това. Да, Тимотей остава споменат там като син на Павел.

2 Тимотей 1:2 До Тимотей, моето истинско дете във вярата: Благодат, милост, мир от Бог Отец и нашия Господ Христос Исус!

Така че наистина трябва да се запитате дали нямаме напълно погрешно разбиране за отделните хора в Библията. Свещеникът-цар Исус стана бедният дърводелец. Първосвещеникът Йоан Кръстител станал рошав проповедник. И Павел става безбрачен отшелник вместо нормално женен римски гражданин.

Истории, измислени от църквата. Просто се питате: какъв е смисълът?

Unser Glaube und die Bibel!

Es ist überraschend, liebe Freunde, wenn wir immer wieder in den Kirchen hören, dass Paulus unverheiratet gewesen wäre. Überraschend, weil uns ja diesbezüglich der 1.Timotheusbrief bereits in Vers 2 eines vollkommen anderen belehrt.

Paulus Timotheus seinen Sohn nennt und diese Bezeichnung wohl irgendwo herrühren muss.

1.Timotheus 1, 2 an Timotheus, mein rechtes Kind im Glauben: Gnade, Barmherzigkeit, Friede von Gott, dem Vater, und unserm Herrn Christus Jesus! 

Man sich nicht wirklich vorstellen kann, das Paulus alle Prediger als seine Kinder sah und auch der Vers 2 im 2.Timotheus wieder Bestätigung gibt. Ja auch dort Timotheus als Sohn des Paulus erwähnt bleibt.

So das man sich wirklich fragen muss, ob wir nicht ein vollkommen falsches Verständnis über die einzelnen Personen in der Bibel haben. Aus dem Priesterkönig Jesus der arme Tischler geworden ist. Aus dem Hohenpriester Johannes dem Täufer ein Zottelprediger. Und aus Paulus eben ein zölibaterer Einsiedler anstatt eines ganz normal verheirateten römischen Bürgers.

Geschichten, welche die Kirche erfunden hat. Man fragt sich nur: Wozu?

Our faith and the Bible!

It is surprising, dear friends, when we keep hearing in the churches that Paul was unmarried. Surprising, because the 1st Epistle to Timothy already tells us something completely different in verse 2.

Paul calls Timothy his son and this name must probably come from somewhere.

1 Timothy 1:2 To Timothy, my true child in the faith: Grace, mercy, peace from God the Father and our Lord Christ Jesus!

You can't really imagine that Paul saw all preachers as his children and verse 2 in 2 Timothy also confirms this. Yes, Timothy remains mentioned there as the son of Paul.

So you really have to ask yourself whether we don't have a completely wrong understanding of the individual people in the Bible. The priest-king Jesus became the poor carpenter. The high priest John the Baptist became a shaggy preacher. And Paul becomes a celibate hermit instead of a normally married Roman citizen.

Stories invented by the church. You just ask yourself: what's the point?
