Изненадващо е, скъпи приятели, когато внимателно разгледаме какво каза Йоан Кръстител, когато го попитаха дали не завижда на Исус. Намираме това в Йоан глава 3 в стих 29. Защото той не се бори за своите членове по никакъв начин. Не иска да вижда клуба си отпред.

Йоан 3:29 Който има невястата, той е младоженецът; а приятелят на младоженеца, като стоеше и го слушаше, много се радваше на гласа на младоженеца. Моята радост вече е изпълнена. 30 Той трябва да расте, а аз да намалявам.

Но дори се радва, че Исус набира нови членове.

Днес големите и отдавна установени църкви се оплакват, че църквата губи членове. Нещо, което, ако погледнете само големите църкви, може да е вярно. Опитайте се, ако е възможно, да възпрепятствате новосъздадените църкви, които също са част от тялото Христово, да, днес се появяват безброй нови малки общности, така че общият брой на християните вероятно се увеличава, а не намалява.

Докато Павел беше предсказал точно това:

1 Кор 12,12 Защото, както тялото е едно, но има много части, и всички части на тялото, макар и много, са едно тяло, така и Христос.

Der Leib Christi wächst!

Es ist überraschend, liebe Freunde, wenn wir uns die Aussage des Johannes des Täufers auf die Anfrage, ob er auf Jesus nicht neidig wäre, einmal genau überlegen. Wir finden diese im Johannesevangelium Kapitel 3 im Vers 29. Weil er in keinster Weise um seine Mitglieder kämpft. Nicht seinen Verein vorne sehen will.

Johannes 3,29 Wer die Braut hat, der ist der Bräutigam; der Freund des Bräutigams aber, der dabeisteht und ihm zuhört, freut sich sehr über die Stimme des Bräutigams. Diese meine Freude ist nun erfüllt. 30 Er muss wachsen, ich aber muss abnehmen.

Sondern sich sogar darüber freut, dass Jesus neue Mitglieder gewinnt.

Heute beschweren sich die großen und alteingesessenen Kirchen darüber, dass doch die Kirche Mitglieder verliert. Etwas das, schaut man sich nur die großen Kirchen an, vielleicht durchaus stimmen mag. Versuchen, wenn es geht die neu startetenden Kirchen, welche ebenfalls ein Teil des Leibes Christi sind, ja, es entstehen heute zu Tage unzählige neue kleine Gemeinden, so das die Anzahl der Christen insgesamt wohl eher wachsend als schrumpfend ist, beim Wachstum zu behindern.

Während Paulus uns genau das vorausgesagt hatte:

1Kor 12,12 Denn wie der Leib einer ist und hat doch viele Glieder, alle Glieder des Leibes aber, obwohl sie viele sind, doch ein Leib sind: so auch Christus.

Glaubst Du nicht?

The body of Christ is growing!

It is surprising, dear friends, when we carefully consider what John the Baptist said when asked if he was not jealous of Jesus. We find this in John chapter 3 in verse 29. Because he doesn't fight for his members in any way. Doesn't want to see his club up front.

John 3:29 whoever has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, standing by and listening to him, rejoices greatly at the voice of the bridegroom. My joy is now fulfilled. 30 He must increase, but I must decrease.

But is even happy that Jesus is gaining new members.

Today the big and long-established churches complain that the church is losing members. Something that, if you only look at the big churches, may well be true. If possible, try to hinder the newly started churches, which are also a part of the body of Christ, yes, countless new small communities are emerging today, so that the number of Christians overall is probably increasing rather than decreasing.

While Paul had predicted just that:

1Cor 12,12 For as the body is one, and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so also Christ.
